Spanish Levels
Course Structure
Our core programs are 18 hours long, divided into six weeks (3 hours per week).
We offer:
4 Beginner levels
4 Intermediate levels
4 Advanced levels
Each level builds carefully on the previous one, following a logical progression.
The fourth level of each stage (Beginner 4, Intermediate 4) serves as a transition course. These levels focus heavily on conversation while reviewing and reinforcing the most important and challenging content from the previous three courses. Students actively use the grammar and structures they’ve learned in real-life speaking situations, ensuring true mastery before moving forward.
Students who complete the full program reach a high level of fluency. They are able to hold in-depth discussions, express complex ideas clearly, and understand sophisticated content. Many continue taking conversation classes to maintain and refine their Spanish.
Spanish Beginner Program (A1 + A2)
Beginner 1
Introduces learners to the basic sounds, structures, and vocabulary of Spanish. Students learn to greet others, exchange simple personal information, describe people and objects, and talk about very basic daily routines.
Beginner 2
Develops students’ ability to communicate in everyday situations using the present tense. Students will talk about daily activities, describe people and places, discuss future plans, and give directions, while beginning to use reflexive verbs and object pronouns.
Beginner 3
Students develop the ability to understand and produce simple spoken and written Spanish related to familiar topics such as family, work, food, shopping, clothing, preferences, weather, and everyday activities.
Beginner 4
Reviews key grammar structures and essential vocabulary from all beginner levels, with a strong emphasis on speaking and real-life communication.
Spanish Intermediate Program (B1 + early B2)
Intermediate 1
Helps learners consolidate present-tense structures and develop systematic control of past tenses in Spanish. The course focuses on narrating past events, describing habitual and background situations, expressing preferences and reactions, and managing everyday social interactions with greater accuracy and fluency.
Intermediate 2
Students develop greater control of past narration, future reference, opinions, and hypothetical language, while improving conversational fluency. The course emphasizes meaningful spoken interaction, coherent storytelling, and effective participation in everyday and semi-formal situations.
Intermediate 3
Focus on building fluency and confidence by strengthening the use of the subjunctive and conditional in real communication. Students will develop the skills to tell more complex stories, express ideas with greater precision, and use natural discourse markers to communicate smoothly in both social and professional contexts.
Intermediate 4
Review the key grammar covered throughout the Intermediate program, including present, past, future, conditional, and subjunctive forms. Through conversation, role-plays, and real-life communication activities, students strengthen their fluency, improve accuracy, and gain confidence.
Spanish Advanced Program (Completion of B2 + C1)
4 Advanced Levels
Our Advanced levels place special emphasis on:
– Subjunctive mood, future and conditional perfect tenses.
– Conditional structures.
– Complex sentence construction.
– Expressing nuanced opinions and abstract ideas.
Practical skills: Discuss real and hypothetical situations, make suppositions, express regret, compare ideas, propose solutions, engage in in-depth discussions, and understand complex readings.
